Engine Licensing

The IndigoBird Runtime Engine and the IndigoBird SDK are licensed together as part of unified engine licensing scheme across a multitude of platforms. Currently Skinux provides two licensing schemes:

  • Developer Based
  • Team Based

Both licensing scheme provide a complete copy of the IndigoBird source code to the developer. In addition, the customer will receive access to any updates, bug fixes, and optimizations to the IndigoBird SDK for the lifetime of their license.

The platforms supported by the IndigoBird Engine include:

  • Microsoft Windows Classic (Win 98, 2000, and XP)
  • Microsoft Vista
  • Apple Mac OS/X
  • Linux

Engine licensing does not include programming technical support.

Developer License

A developer based license is ideally suited for a small project which contains one to three developers usually for a single product with limited distribution. Each developer license includes:

  • The IndigoBird SDK source code + manuals
  • A per unit runtime fee
  • Free updates to the IndigoBird SDK
  • Rights deploy to all platforms

At this time a single developer license costs $3000.00. Training and custom programming support are not included as part of the developer license.

Team License

A team base license is ideally suited for a medium size project which contains up to twenty programmers usually for a family of products with wide distribution. A team license does not have a runtime licensing fee and is royalty free. It does however have a per platform annual licensing fee.

  • A per platform per year licensing fee (call for details)
  • The IndigoBird SDK source code + manuals
  • Free updates to the IndigoBird SDK
  • On site training
  • One month of consulting
